Pipeline & Riser Clamping Systems

Matrix has established a long track record of supplying clamps and clamping systems for product and marine risers, cassions, flexible hoses, subsea pipelines and umbilicals.

The key to Matrix's engineered solutions in this field is the use of polymeric and composite materials in the construction of the clamp which provide a lightweight and corrosion resistant part.

Medium to large production runs of clamps for applications such as subsea pipelines can drive material selection in terms of economy and production rates. To this end, Matrix offers plastic injection moulded polypropylene clamps and where load conditions are high, compression moulded composites can also be used.

Pipeline & Riser Clamping SystemsFor low volume or one off applications, materials such as syntactic foam, FRP or polyurethane can be used, dependant on the application. Additionally, large clamps typically use polyurethanes or syntactics that generally has no size limitations.
