The Hytac range of syntactic tooling material offers the widest range of engineered material solutions available for thermoforming plug assist applications. The grades of Hytac available have been expanded to include application specific material options designed to provide thermoformers with an unprecedented range of application specific and performance vs. economy alternatives.

Hytac has been developed by working directly with thermoformers, tool & mould makers and machine builders to allow customers to utilise the right material for their specific product. The proper plug material may lead to improved material distribution, elimination of mark-off and chill lines, elimination of thin areas, faster cycle times, better part clarity, improvements in haze and gloss, better part strength and less material and energy usage.
