The Role:

Matrix is seeking a proactive, energetic individual with a solid grounding in design, engineering and manufacturing to work with the company's engineering design team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this key role involves product design, design report production, tooling design, process design & FAT procedure writing. Opportunities for increased responsibilities are likely, and the position offers an exciting challenge in a company that is operating in the forefront of composite materials & elastomer technology.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess a tertiary degree in mechanical engineering and have at least 8 years proven experience in a manufacturing and/or product design environment. Experience product design, manufacturing and effective communication skills at all levels is essential. A high degree of computer literacy is necessary. Experience with 3D design packages is essential.

The position is full time and based at the company's Perth facility.

Matrix is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer who can meet sales objectives through effective territory and account management. Specific role responsibilities include building relationships with key clients, responding to customer specifications and preparation of proposals.

The successful applicant will be customer focused, technically competent and committed to excellence, Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide engineering solutions to a wide range of applications.

Previous technical sales experience in the above or similar fields and excellent communication skills are considered essential for this role.
